Center Stage – Rtr. Paveen Perera

For this episode of Center Stage, which marks the Season Finale, we have brought to you someone who believes in Hakuna Matata!, who doesn't have any music in his phone (like, what??) and who is constantly inspired by his friends to be a better person.

Watch the video to find out more:

Here are a few more questions we asked him, and his interesting answers to those:

What about the Sri Lankan education system should change?

The system needs to be corrected to cater to industry needs, maintaining free education only up to a certain stage and implement a payment after that. Because a lot of graduates who come out of state universities graduated and that it bad for our economy. It would be better if there was a payment to pay for state university graduates who want to migrate.

What makes you feel most empowered?

Friends

Networking, Friendships, Social Service, Leadership, Skills Development Rank them as to how important these factors are to you personally, in terms of Rotaract?

  1. Leadership
  2. Skills Development
  3. Friendships
  4. Networking
  5. Social Service

And that, Ladies and Gentlemen, brings us to the end of this season of Center Stage! Throughout this season, we've brought to you not only some interesting characters from Rotaract Sri Lanka, but also the leader of the entire Rotary Movement globally, Rtn. Mark Maloney.
